The interview was amazing and we learnt a lot about Rahul.

Through this interview, we came to learn so much about this amazing person. We hope to explore more about him in our coming interviews.

Here are the excerpts from the interview:

What motivated you to become an author?

An urge to share my emotions through a medium where a mass can understand. Motivation is life itself, we go through a lot of situations which breaks us or makes us and I choose to make it no matter what the situation is so my motivation is my worst phases of life which gives me depth and I live my dreams it was my dream to publish a book so I did give myself to it.

Do you think someone could be a writer if they don’t feel emotions strongly?

No, you can not the most important thing is not words but the depth of words one person might be trained to right a good story but will fail if he haven’t experienced the life he is writing or observed it nicely and other person who has no knowledge but have experienced or gone through something which gave him depth he will write a better story for any artist its very important to go through a procedure which indulging himself into emotions good bad or ugly, the emotions which gives him depth makes him writer worth reading.

What else do you like to do other than writing?

Photography as a profession and I love to travel and cook.

Did you come across any specific challenges in writing? What would you do differently the next time?

Yes, a very few but I guess I corrected them with time. My motto is to write whatever I feel at times even if it has mistakes but still its making a sense I will go for it. Perfection is beautiful but struggling with something which is honest is the phenomenal. I will try to write better next time observe more and grow, bring more emotions out of my heart to touch others soul.

How did you come to know about the Blue Hill Publications and how was your experience with it?

I did visit few publication houses and their attitude was different I didn’t feel like a connect but when I started searching for more I found a post in quora where everything was published by blue hill publications by a person who was their earlier client and it was so beautiful there was an instant connect that these are the people I want to get my book published with. So, I had a word with them and the experience is like family. It’s like things are in safe hands.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

As a child, I just wanted to grow up because I was in boarding school and life was tough for a 4 yrs old. I never knew what I wanted from life I still don’t know there is one thing which is photography and it pays my bills there is another thing which makes me happy its writing and I love to cook and travel and I do them all I think I’m still a child or someone too filled with things that he finds a medium to express himself. I am a person who is very quite so I guess these mediums related to art helps me to speak my emotions.

What advice do you have for writers?

Just one advice do everything from heart and write everyday as its your last day. speak your heart and emotions with honesty forget about the rules criticism and judgments just be yourself that’s what all it makes your book unique.

Where is your favorite place to write?

I guess that place is my mind when I want to write it can cut off all the things going on around me, I mostly write at the time when I’m about to sleep and something comes up so I get up and write and this goes on for a few hours and I also write while taking shower.

Who are your favorite authors? What do you like about their work?

Osho, Khalil Gibran, Gulzar, Waseem Barelvi, Jaun Elia, Shiv Kumar Batalvi, Bashir badr, Faiz Ahmad Faiz and lots more. I like the way they express their feelings love rebellious nature and beauty in most common things.

What are you trying to achieve with it?

To be honest I don’t know I just want to write with my heart I just want that sync of emotions and words to happen with honesty that’s all I want to achieve these things are under me I wanna be my best in them.

We would like to thank Rahul for taking out time for this amazing interview. Blue Hill Publications wishes him all the best for his future endeavors.
